You will be required to complete the eLearning Rescue Diving Theory prior to pooland open water training.

As with all things, of course there is paperwork to be completed before your course can start. Please note any "Yes" on the medical form requires a doctor sign off prior to you entering the course. Both forms, the Medical and the form appropriate to your course, must be completed prior to the start of any course.
Challenging and rewarding best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken.
The PADI Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Topics include:
You'll use your basic scuba equipment and will need a pocket mask to practice in-water resuscitation. During exercises, You'll work with an oxygen unit, floats, marker buoys and perhaps CPR mannequins. Your PADI Instructor will explain the equipment that you need and may suggest additional gear, such as your own first aid kit, which will be useful throughout your diving career.
