The Dive Shop has been offering quality SCUBA instruction, sales and service in Calgary for over 36 years.

Darrin Barker, owner and operator, is a PADI Course Director, RecTec Instructor Trainer, and TDI Instructor Trainer who can't stop getting wet.  Leading excursions to local dive sites, the West Coast, and warm water destinations, Darrin and his staff are the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable crew you'll ever need or want!

The Dive Shop carries a broad assortment of equipment suited for recreational, technical and professional divers, and water sports enthusiasts.

This PADI 5-Star training facility features a newly renovated change area and pool - we're proud to say that we think it's the best training pool in Calgary and it's been specifically designed for your safety.

Our Pool:

We have Calgary's newest and best designated training pool. Our uniquely designed gradually sloping pool allows you to safely descend and control your equalization process on the way down. This is especially important when dealing with younger children. The 14 foot deep end gives you the best experience when doing all your necessary skills. Our pool is always set at 88 degrees allowing you to learn in a warm comfortable environment. The 3mm suits that we provide gives you that added warmth and comfort that you desire and need. Not only that but our pool and experience make us Calgary Board of Education preferred training provider.

Want to jump in and try our new pool or that that new piece of dive or snorkel gear? Our pool splash is only $10 (between 10am and 6pm Monday-Friday) 

Our Policies:

Reschedule Fee          $40 CAD

Applies when course dates are changed less than 1 week prior to Lesson 1, or to reschedule into another course during your enrollment.

No-show fee          $50 CAD

Applies when student does not show up for Scheduled Lessons without notifying the store staff.

Course Cancellation Fee          $50

Upon booking your course, a 100% non-refundable deposit of $50 is due - Course materials will also be non-refundable if modules have been written in.
